Resources for Getting Started in Multimedia

New Media Resorces for Leadership Institute III:
Will add more resources over time, but wanted to get started. I'd especially recommend the NewsU course. It's free, doesn't take much time (about two hours), and is a good way to get a kickstart multimedia for yourself or your colleagues. A bit more detail on the course:

What will I learn? Want to spread your wings beyond print reporting, but don’t know where to start? In this course, you’ll learn the basic steps of telling your story with multimedia. You’ll discover ways to map out your story before you head out to do your reporting. And you’ll learn when to use such tools as audio, video and graphics.

(NewsU is produced by the Poynter Institute (where I work) and is funded by John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.
